Two updates this stretch, both aimed at giving you more control over how you read performance: one at the account level, one at the individual ad level.
Custom attribution settings for Meta
We'd been getting the same request for a while: let me set attribution myself, not just inherit my ad account's default.
That's live now. For any report, on any ad account, you can pick:
- Different combination of click and view attribution windows
- Decide between all conversions (the default) or First conversions only
- And try Incremental attribution
You'll find it under the Settings menu of any report using Meta.
We are also working on third party attribution, currently working on adding Northbeam, Google Analytics and more. That's coming next.
A much better ad preview
The ad preview modal got a real upgrade, and it's now closer to a full analysis view than a simple preview.
Video drop-off curves and retention charts sit right next to the creative, so you can see the exact moment viewers start tuning out. When you're trying to understand why a video underperforms, that timing is usually the whole answer.
We also added placement breakdowns and demographic breakdowns by age and gender, both fully customizable so you can slice performance however you think about it.
And if you find an ad you want to keep, you can now download it in one click.
